The work here is at the edge of convention. The 'other' refers to its tangential position to the central and more conservative view of much creative practice. It appears wacky and out of step somehow, and is unusual and at times difficult. Mostly strongly driven by the personal and the eccentric, both important narrative traditions in Art History but now found in current practice with moving image works.
